While these are primarily meant as a cheaper alternative to replacement stock pads, replacing these can result in a larger than usual change in sound [compared to most other pad swaps] - please see measurements.  Red is stock while blue represents HM5 hybrid pads mounted with our adapters to a K7XX. HM5 Hybrid pads were used with good results, while velour HM5 pads were also tried they resulted in a large loss in bass response.  Both were very comfortable.
