UPDATE: 11/24/17: We would like to clarify that the HD580/600/650/6XX adapters are designed to fit with the stock foam used between the baffle and the pad adapter [like the stock pads].  If you do not wish to use the stock foam with the adapters please select the new "no foam" option.  We have also received reports of the Sennheiser gaming headsets having slightly different tolerances than the 518/558/598 series.  If you would like to use the adapters with the gaming series please select the new "gaming" option.

UPDATE 3/13/2017: Added FR graph for HD 580 as an example for pad swaps.  HM5 flat velour pads are what we recommend for all Sennheisers if you are performing a pad swap, as it will give closest to stock sound.  The main purpose of these mods is added comfort.

These 3D printed adapter clips can be used to cleanly and easily mount Brainwavz HM5 pads on the Sennheiser 518/558/598 series of headphones.  Pads can be wrapped around the back part of the clip to allow for a tight, clean fit - or mounted in the groove between the two layers, allowing for pad swapping without removing the clips - but with a more loose fit.  Other pads like the Shure 840/940/1540/1840 pads may work, but have not been tested.
